How to Order a Fine Art Print

There is no need to know every paper by name before contacting us. The most helpful first step is to explain the work, where it will be seen and what you want the finished object to feel like.

Step 1

Describe the project

Tell us whether you are printing one photograph, an artwork reproduction, an edition, a series or a framed interior piece. Give the number of images and approximate final sizes. Note the display environment and any date you are working toward.

Step 2

Share the file or capture plan

Provide your full-resolution final file if available. If you have a physical original that still needs photographing or scanning, say so: digital capture must be planned separately. Do not assume digitisation is included in printing.

Step 3

Choose medium and presentation

Compare paper white, texture and canvas weave in relation to the image. Then decide printed image size, border, final sheet size and whether framing is needed. For a collection or luxury apartment, measure the available wall and think about viewing distance before fixing the size.

Steps 4 & 5

Confirm, then keep the record

01

Confirm the quote and production details

Ask the studio to confirm the medium, dimensions, quantity, finishing, any testing requirement and final price. Clarify turnaround, collection or shipping for the particular job — these terms are confirmed per order.

02

Keep the final specification

Retain the agreed file version, size, material and finishing details. That record is especially useful for a later reprint, a series or a limited edition.
