Canvas offers a different visual distance and surface from paper. The two canvas options named in the studio brief are Hahnemühle Photo Canvas 320 and Hahnemühle Canvas Artist 340. Their weave, colour and texture should be chosen with the image and display setting in mind.

Photography-led, less dominant texture. A finely woven canvas can retain more of a photograph’s small-scale impression.

Artwork-led, strongly tactile character. A coarse canvas can make texture part of the artwork; its natural-white base affects warm and cool colours differently.
Scale and detail
Match scale and detail to the weave
At normal viewing distance, both canvases can bring depth to large images. For tiny text, very fine line work or detail that must be inspected closely, compare a paper option before choosing canvas. A screen preview alone cannot convey the weave.
Finish
Discuss the finish before production
The current price sheet lists optional UV coating separately by size. Ask how the coating will affect surface appearance and whether it is appropriate for the selected work. Framing is also available; specify the desired display style and overall dimensions when requesting a quote.
We do not treat “canvas print” as shorthand for a particular stretching, edge-wrap or hanging method. Those details need to be agreed for each order.
- A large photograph can gain a more object-like presence on canvas.
- A painting reproduction may benefit from an emphatic weave.
- For a gallery wall, compare canvas depth with the quieter presence of a framed paper print.

Example: a 40 × 60 cm print on Photo Canvas 320 is 760,000 VND; adding UV coating brings the listed total to 920,000 VND.
